Nederlandse Galerie Associatie
The Nederlandse Galerie Associatie (NGA) (Association of Dutch Art Galleries) serves to represent the interests of the professional art galleries in the Netherlands. The association strives to maintain good contact between the art galleries and their customers.
The NGA:
- is the contact point for the government, institutions and commerce on all relevant issues for its members;
- provides services and collective support for its members;
- promotes the professionalism and quality of all associated art galleries;
- works towards the improvement of the promotion and marketing of the art gallery sector;
- participates in national and international umbrella organisations;
- promotes research into the market for contemporary visual arts;
- wishes to contribute to a favourable entrepreneurial climate for art galleries.
