Profile: Rob Huisman

Rob Huisman is the director of Beroepsorganisatie Nederlandse Ontwerpers (BNO) (Association of Dutch Designers). The BNO promotes the business, social and cultural interest of designers in the Netherlands. Its most important task is to provide support and advice to members in performing their profession. Rob is a board member of Pictoright, Design Platform Eindhoven, de Beyerd and Stichting Best verzorgde Boeken. Huisman: "Well designed products have a cultural and economic function. It is that combination of functions that gives a design its uniqueness and currency.
