Profile: Ewoudt Boonstra

Ewoudt Boonstra is Creative Director at KesselsKramer. Brick or book (2 kilo or KesselsKramer), a website in one hundred manifestations as a parody of websites (Kesselskramer.com) and a book full of lost images of fading, forgotten photographic images of the meals we can have at all the Chinese, Italian and Japanese restaurants and snack bars in the world (Bad Food Gone Worse). Examples of the portfolio of the perennially surprising communication and advertising agency.

My big idea:
Can always be bigger.

Favourite tools:
Chainsaw

Favourite website:
www.traumtv.net
A brilliant idea to put all the YouTube content in a pretty interface. YouTube has changed its code, as a result of which the site is temporarily down. Hopefully they’ll be able to hack the code and get it up and running again soon.

Hobby:
My work.

Best advice I ever received:
When my wife told me that I was no photographer.

Biggest blunder:
The biggest blunder invariably makes a good story after a while.

Tips for professional colleagues:
More effective on a one-to-one basis than in general.

As an ambassador of Amsterdam, I would...
Thank Amsterdam for the honour.
