Source of inspiration:
When I paint, I'll be inspired by film. When I work on animation, I'll be inspired by painting.
My big idea:
The ambition is to create work from a personal point of view, that offers the viewers or users options to engage in an emotional connection to the work. Either on a very "simple" level of being entertained or through a more complex relation with a painting or an addition to an interior. I'm interested in the balance of offering enough "handles" to enter the work, but leaving room for personal interpretation, thus making the work as much "mine" as "thine".
Favourite tools:
PC, paint, pen.
Favourite website:
www.google.com
Hobby:
Watching and reading about movies.
Best advice I ever received:
Be patient.
Biggest blunder:
Nothing too disastrous. I might have knocked over a full cup of coffee in a meeting once.
Tips for professional colleagues:
Do what you like.
As an ambassador of Amsterdam, I would...
...ask myself what I am doing in Berlin.
