MTV
MTV is a subsidiary of the worldwide MTV corporation, which produces television shows that are broadcast via a wide range of channels and websites around the world.
The MTV television network was founded in 1981 with a revolutionary new concept: non-stop broadcasting of music video clips. It subsequently also produced and broadcast music-related shows, film clips and reality shows.
MTV is no longer purely a music network, but nowadays focuses on the broader formation and depiction of contemporary youth culture.
