Mediacollege Amsterdam
Mediacollege Amsterdam (MA) provides Intermediate Vocational Education (Dutch MBO) programmes in design, media, information technology, theatre and audiovisual techniques.
Each of the programmes offered at MA is oriented to the creation of products, such as posters, websites, films, theatre productions, computer games and magazines.
Certain aspects always recur in the development and creation of all of the above-mentioned products: research, a creative phase, production and presentation. The phasing forms part of every project in each of the different disciplines. At the beginning of the course, the projects are small in scale and in most instances they are developed by the lecturers. Later on in the course, the students also work on assignments for external customers. The MA Project Office (Ma-Projectbureau ) processes the assignments and liaises between the students and the external customers.
