Het Instituut Collectie Nederland

The Netherlands Institute for Cultural Heritage (ICN) is a knowledge institute for the preservation and management of moveable cultural heritage. The ICN has four core tasks: advising on the preservation and management of collections, carrying out research, training restorers and managing the ICN collection.

The combination of consultancy, research, education and collection management in a single institute is what makes the ICN such a unique institute, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Museums, libraries, archives and other collection custodians can make use of the ICN’s services.

The ICN has locations in Amsterdam and Rijswijk and is part of the Ministry for Education, Culture and Science.
