GVR/De Kennisconnectie (GVR/The Knowledge Connection) is a knowledge centre for everyone working in a marketing communication profession.
The abbreviation, GVR, stands for Genootschap Voor Reclame (Society for Advertising). The current name of the organisation is GVR/De Kennisconnectie.
GVR/De Kennisconnectie wishes to serve as a source of inspiration for everyone wanting to convey a commercial message. The knowledge centre signals trends and developments, creates a vision and brings together professionals from a wide range of disciplines to enable them to learn from one another.
What does GVR/De Kennisconnectie do?
GVR/De Kennisconnectie organises a wide range of activities, including the following:
- presentations, seminars and debates;
- the publication of books, monographs and newsletters;
- the protection of branded corporate slogans by registration in the GVR Slagzinnenregister (slogan register).
Who can join?
Anyone working in the marketing communication industry can become a member of GVR/De Kennisconnectie. The organisation’s members come from a wide range of sectors, but mainly from advertising, advertising agencies, educational institutions and cultural organisations. GVR/De Kennisconnectie currently has more than 600 members.
