Profile: Kathy Ludwig + Florian Kräutli

As John Cleese would say: “And now for something completely different.” Kathy Ludwig and Florian Kräutli design work that dares the world. Whether it is the love of esthetics, or our constant need to communicate, Ludwig and Kräutli find a way to confront the public. One of their works called “hosting parasites” was featured in Vogue Italia. In addition, the designers are well known for their innovative designs for exhibition stands and fairs.

About the company:
Originally coming from Germany and Switzerland we met at the Design Academy Eindhoven, The Netherlands. After graduating we founded a cooperative studio together.

We approach themes dealing with the concepts of art, design, fahion, society, technology and, most important of all, the role of the human being interacting with these areas.

We try to tell 'fairy tales' by means of objects to communicate critical and to us relevant aspects of the sourrounding world. We see ourselves as mediators of the different creative disciplines with the goal to make our audience reflect about themselves and their surrounding and being more sensible to recent and future occurrences and developments.
