Profile: Jeroen van Erp

Jeroen van Erp is a co-founder and Creative Director of the multidisciplinary design agency, Fabrique. The agency specializes in designing across the whole range of design disciplines: in many instances, the traditional boundaries between graphic design, industrial design, spatial design, and interactive media become almost completely indistinct. Jeroen is also engaged in projects for, among others, the Rijksmuseum, Nederlandse Spoorwegen (Netherlands Railways) and the Dutch Government. In addition, he is a guest lecturer at various educational institutions and a member of the board of the Netherlands Graphic Design Archive (NAGO for Nederlands Archief Grafisch Ontwerpen) and the Design & Emotion Society.

About the company:
Fabrique develops vision, thinks along with the customer on strategies, brands and innovation and also does designing - preferably across the traditional boundaries of the design disciplines. In many instances, the traditional boundaries between graphic design, industrial design, spatial design and interactive media become almost completely indistinct; however, always with the same passion for designing. In the view of the agency, this is the only way to create apparently simple solutions, in the future, to complex and relevant issues. Over the years, the agency has won more than 100 awards and nominations, both nationally and internationally, for its work. In February 2007, the agency also opened a studio in Amsterdam.

... be careful about telling everybody how nice it is to work here in Amsterdam: otherwise the city will only become even busier.
